OYO Culture Manual 2018

Insight ≥ ‘Company Culture’ is a thing nowadays. Corporations hire other Corporations to figure out what values their people should abide by and how they want to be perceived by the world. We decided to do it the other way round, i.e. get OYO employees to talk about the way they work, thereby deriving Culture from real operators rather than dreaming up some strategic vision. Grand strategies apart, all of us just wanted to make something that would impress the folks at home.

Motherland worked closely with Ritesh Agarwal, OYO’s founder, team leaders (and the entire workforce!) to articulate company culture. The Culture Manual captured the spirit of this rapidly evolving enterprise in a markedly non-corporate format, and served as a primer for new employees, business partners and anyone curious about this fast-growing phenomenon.
